With the aim of offering a well-deserved day of rest and enjoyment, we at El Pimpi, in collaboration with the Coín City Council, organized a very special day last Tuesday for associations, brotherhoods and NGOs from the Málaga municipality.
This initiative, promoted by Pepe Cobos, co-founder of El Pimpi, brought together around sixty people from various non-profit organizations who work every day for the well-being of their community. During the day, participants enjoyed an enriching cultural tour through Málaga, guided by local experts who led them through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba, the Cathedral and the Paseo del Parque.
The day began with a Mediterranean breakfast on the terrace of the bodega. After this warm welcome, the guided tour began, and once it concluded, attendees made their way to El Palomar de Picasso, a space within El Pimpi, where they shared lunch in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
The day ended with an emotional flamenco performance featuring Sandra Cisneros on dance, Vanessa and Remedios Fernández on vocals and Pepe Satorre on guitar, providing a memorable finale to a day filled with emotion, culture and camaraderie.
The mayor of Coín, Francisco Santos, also attended the event, accompanied by several members of the municipal council. Their presence served to show the City Council’s support and appreciation for the more than sixty social, cultural, agricultural, commercial and charitable organizations that play an active role in the town’s community life.
This day reflects El Pimpi’s ongoing commitment to its surroundings and to all those who, through their daily dedication, help build a more united, supportive and proud society rooted in its traditions.
