To promote and protect the gastronomic heritage of Rincón de la Victoria, Bodegas El Pimpi joins the Boquerón Victoriano Restaurant Network for another year and participates in the fifth volume of the recipe book ‘De Rincón, el Boquerón. Usos gastronómicos del Boquerón Victoriano’. This year, 500 copies have been published, featuring 45 recipes from local restaurants in Málaga capital, as well as Torre del Mar and Madrid.
This recipe book highlights the various ways to cook the boquerón victoriano—a flavorful, versatile blue fish that can star in numerous dishes, both traditional and contemporary.
Our chef, Andrés Romero, presents the Brioche de Boquerón Victoriano in Moscatel vinegar with pickled and kalamata cream.
The Fiesta del Boquerón Victoriano is held in Rincón de la Victoria in September. It is the only gastronomic festival in Málaga that combines popular participation with haute cuisine and has been declared a Provincial Tourist Interest Festival.
